Individual Therapy

50 minute individual session

My sessions are tailored to meet my client’s needs. We will work together to find an approach that works best for you.

What you can expect from me:

I help people identify patterns that no longer serve them, gain insight into where these patterns began, and support them in breaking these mental, emotional, and behavioral habits so that they can live in greater alignment with their healthy Self. Ultimately, my goal is to help my clients understand themselves more deeply and feel more emotionally free in their lives.

Brainspotting 

50 minute individual brainspotting session

Brainspotting is a mindfulness-based therapy that helps people work through trauma and painful emotions through a simple, straightforward, and highly impactful technique. It also helps significantly with nervous system regulation and resilience building.

Group Therapy

75 minute weekly group session

Do you often feel stuck in relationships and not get what you need/want?

Do you have challenging, unfulfilling relationships? 

Do you want to work on asserting yourself and having healthier boundaries?

Group is a great place to understand yourself better, see what might be blocking you from having the type of relationships you are truly craving, and in general, learn more about your relationship dynamics.

About Kathleen

Hi, I am so glad you are here. I believe good therapy is about building a strong relationship that you can trust, which allows for you to go to places that you might not be able to go on your own. As such, I am a relational therapist, which means I help you understand your relationship dynamics. I help you identify where your patterns come from, what purpose they serve, and how they were protective at one point in your life. When you can see this more clearly, you can make a choice about what you want to keep doing and what you want to change.

Here is a little more about me:

I have been working in the mental health field since 2011, and have a degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University. I have worked in addiction treatment for almost 10 years. I am a licensed professional counselor, a licensed addictions counselor, and a brainspotting therapist.

I also specialize in treating sleep disorders. I use CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia), which is widely considered the most effective non-pharmacological treatment for chronic insomnia.

I am trained to provide acudetox therapy, which is a specific five-point ear acupuncture protocol that can help with withdrawal symptoms, cravings, anxiety, and general agitation. I offer this as an add-on service free of cost.
